I love every minute of his unique style and true aloha for all ! I recommend you take a class no matter where your homeland/ na’au is. Do it for yourself, your keiki and to foster the spread of our beloved language and cultural practices.

It has been an incredible experience. Kumu Kalikoʻs knowledge is deeper than deep, his classes are engaging, and his answers, without fail, excellent. In my view, he should be deemed an island treasure, his depth of knowledge is astounding and his good nature infectious.

He meets people where they're at, and propels them. Whether you browse the materials from the website, put in 15 minutes a day with Duolingo, or an hour with a textbook a couple times a week, the diversity of need and goal is met with pure aloha. Papa ʻOlelo (Hawaiian Language Class) is the best part of my week.

I bought every book I could find and although I learned a lot of words I just couldn't understand the grammar.  Then I found Olelo Online. The lessons are fantastic. Kaliko is so kind and patient.  At last I am making progress and it is so wonderful to be able to spend an hour a week in Hawai'i.
